Operating for over 60 years, this reputable and successful Brand supplies innovative standard and designer fittings to Builders and Architects. An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Sales Manager/ BDM with experience from the Building sector.

Reporting directly to the MD, this varied Supervisory & hands-on position will be responsible for overseeing 5 staff (70%) and maintaining existing Clients and developing new business (30%).

This varied position involves:

  • Leading the NSW field sales team to deliver sales, profit and share targets through effective leadership, proactive planning and effective resource deployment (80%)
  • Visiting existing clients and canvasing new clients including Builders, Roofers and Architects (20%)
  • Developing and expanding the current reseller distribution channel.
  • Overseeing sales and marketing cycle activity.
  • Utilising resources to ensure delivery of a competitive advantage with customers
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to accelerate growth through analysing customer, competitive and business trends
  • Managing sales expense budgets and achieve targets including trade spend and profit
    Management & sales reporting

Along with your results-focused approach and experience achieving the best results from a dynamic smaller team, you will bring:

  • Proven experience achieving targets and building strong client relationships
  • Solid Sales Manager / BDM experience (Building Industry preferable)
  • Experience leading/ supervising a small team of Internal/ External Sales Representatives
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to proactively identify opportunities to accelerate growth
  • Strong computer skills & professional writing, presentation & communication skills
